After breakfast, we check out and begin our journey back to Irkutsk. The first leg involves crossing Lake Baikal on a ferry, a tranquil passage that allows us one last panoramic view of this magnificent natural wonder. Once on the other side, we embark on a scenic drive back to Irkutsk, making a special stop at Ust-Orda along the way. This visit offers a unique insight into the culture and traditions of the indigenous Buryat people, enriching our understanding of the region's diverse heritage. Lunch will be enjoyed en route, providing a moment to savour local flavours amidst the day's travels. Upon arrival in Irkutsk, we'll delve into an orientation tour of the city. Known as the "Paris of Siberia," Irkutsk charms with its historic architecture and vibrant streets, revealing layers of history and the spirit of Siberian resilience.
