Welcome to the world of TravelLive (India) Pvt. Ltd!
You will be greeted by our experienced and pleasant Tour Director at Kolkata International Airport, who will assist with immigration and customs formalities before boarding. Ensure your luggage is booked till Tokyo from Kolkata. Upon late evening arrival in Japan, the Land of the Rising Sun, and after completing immigration and customs, our Coach Captain and Japanese Representative will welcome you. They will escort you to an Indian dinner, followed by an overnight rest.
Tokyo
On Day 2, after breakfast, our guided tour of Tokyo begins. We'll start with a visit to the Imperial Palace, where you'll learn about its significance and history. Next, we'll explore the Asakusa Kannon Temple, a site of rich historical and religious importance. Our tour will also include a visit to the towering Tokyo Sky Tree, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the city. The day concludes with a return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Tokyo.
Tokyo - Mount Fuji - Shizuoka
Following a hearty breakfast, our day kicks off with a visit to the iconic Mount Fuji 5th Station. Admire the majestic Mount Fuji, a symbol of Japan, as we explore this renowned spot. Known for its breathtaking Goraiko sunrise, Mount Fuji is a must-see for any visitor to Japan. Next on our itinerary is the Owakudani Ropeway, a unique experience offering stunning views of volcanic activity, Lake Ashi, and on clear days, Mount Fuji itself. Our adventure continues with a scenic cruise on Lake Ashi, a beautiful and serene location known for its hot springs and remarkable views of Mount Fuji. This cruise is not just a journey across the lake, but a chance to witness the beauty of Japan's natural landscape. The day concludes with a transfer to the hotel in Shizuoka, the capital of Shizuoka Prefecture, and the city is known for scenic views of Mount Fuji.
Shizuoka - Kyoto
After breakfast, transfer from your hotel to Shizuoka Station, where you'll experience the thrill of riding Japan's famous bullet train. This high-speed journey is a blend of efficiency and comfort, showcasing Japan's technological prowess. Upon arrival in Kyoto, we will visit to the Kinkaku Temple, or Kinkakuji, known as the Golden Pavilion. This architectural marvel, covered in gold leaf and set amidst lush greenery and a tranquil pond, is a sight to behold. After dinner you will settle in for an overnight stay at your designated accommodation, ready for more exploration the day after.
Kyoto
After breakfast, immerse yourself in the cultural richness of Japan with a traditional tea ceremony. Known as the Way of Tea, this ceremony is a quintessential Japanese experience, focusing on the ceremonial preparation and presentation of matcha, a finely ground powdered green tea.
Next, we will visit the renowned Kiyomizu Temple, a historic site founded in 780 near the Otowa Waterfall. Our exploration then takes us to Nijo Castle, a flatland castle with a rich history dating back to 1603. Initially built by Tokugawa Ieyasu, the castle has seen many roles, from a shogun's stronghold to an imperial palace, and now serves as a public historical site. The day concludes with a check-in at your hotel in Kyoto, and a hearty Japanese buffet dinner. Rest overnight and prepare for another exciting day of discovery in Japan.
Hiroshima
After breakfast, we head to Hiroshima and start our day with a visit to the Peace Park, a symbol of remembrance for the victims of the nuclear attack and a beacon for world peace. The park houses the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum, offering insights into the tragic event and its aftermath.
Next, we explore the Atomic Bomb Museum within the park, which draws over a million visitors yearly. It's an educational site that emphasizes the importance of peace and reconciliation. The day concludes with a return to our Hiroshima hotel for dinner and an overnight stay, wrapping up a day filled with historical and cultural immersion.
Hiroshima - Osaka
After breakfast, you'll check out of your hotel and set off for Osaka. As Japan's third-largest city and the capital of Osaka Prefecture, Osaka is a vibrant part of the Keihanshin metropolis, which includes Kyoto and Kobe. On the way to Osaka we will visit to the serene Miyajima Island, a short ferry ride away. This island is famous for its scenic beauty and the Itsukushima Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its iconic "floating" torii gate.
Then we will stop in Osaka is the Umeda Sky Building, a notable landmark of the city. Standing as the twelve tallest building in Osaka, the Umeda Sky Building is distinguished by its two 40-story towers connected at the top by bridges and an escalator set in an atrium-like space. This architectural marvel offers a unique perspective of the city. After exploring the Umeda Sky Building, we'll proceed for dinner followed by an overnight stay in Osaka, providing an opportunity to relax and anticipate the adventures ahead in this dynamic city.
Nara
Following breakfast, we'll embark on an excursion to Nara, renowned for its historic and scenic beauty. Our guided tour will take us through some of Japan's most treasured sites. We begin at Nara Park, a top tourist destination celebrated for its scenic beauty and its sacred deer, once considered divine and now designated as National Treasures. The deer are a unique feature of the park, stemming from their historical association with the gods of Kasuga Shrine.
Our next visit is to the Todaiji Temple, a significant Buddhist temple complex in Nara. This imposing statue is a marvel of Japanese religious art. We'll then explore the Kasuga Grand Shrine, a revered Shinto shrine known for its stunning architecture and historical significance.. Its location on an ancient burial mound or kofun adds to its historical depth, with over 2,000 years of history. Following the visit, we'll explore the Osaka Flyer in the TKP building. This unique office building features an architectural marvel: its fifth, sixth, and seventh floors are hollowed out to allow the Hanshin highway to pass through them. We will transfer back to Osaka for dinner and an overnight stay, allowing time to reflect on the profound heritage and beauty of Nara.
Osaka
After breakfast, we'll head to Osaka Castle, a significant historical landmark in Japan. Built-in the 15th century, the castle played a crucial role in the unification of Japan during the 16th century. After the satisfying castle tour, we break for lunch. Say goodbye to Japan, a country filled with rich culture and unforgettable experiences.
Back to Kolkata
The next day after early morning arrival complete your immigration formalities and bid farewell to your companions as you embark on your journey to Kolkata, bringing an end to your memorable trip.

- Tips and porterage in the airports, in hotels, or in cruises, personal conveyance expenses, additional entrance charges on top of those mentioned in the itinerary, any other incidental expenses.
- Any cost involved in the extension of stay, deviation of sector/s & dates, and re-routing of outbound & inbound itineraries where airlines/railways/bus services charge an additional amount beyond the published itinerary.
