Amman to Bethlehem

After a hearty breakfast, we begin our journey from Amman, crossing the border bridge into the West Bank, heading toward the sacred city of Bethlehem—the birthplace of Jesus Christ and a revered destination for Christian pilgrims. Upon arrival, we’ll embark on a guided city tour, strolling through Bethlehem's historic streets and immersing ourselves in its profound spiritual heritage. In the evening, we’ll visit the Church of the Nativity (viewed from the outside), a revered site built above the grotto believed to be the birthplace of Jesus. The significance of this site is heightened during this special time of year. We’ll also have the privilege of experiencing the Christmas Eve celebrations in Bethlehem, a truly magical and spiritual moment. After soaking in the festive atmosphere, we’ll return to our hotel for an overnight stay in Bethlehem, reflecting on the day's spiritual journey. Please note: Access to religious sites, including churches, temples, or mosques, is subject to the discretion of the respective authorities and may not always be guaranteed.

Full-Day Tour of Bethlehem

After breakfast, we embark on a full-day tour, exploring some of the most revered sites in both Christianity and Judaism. Our journey begins with a visit to Golgotha, the site of Jesus’ crucifixion, now housed within the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. From there, we head to Jerusalem to witness the Western Wall (Wailing Wall), the holiest site in Judaism. Next, we visit Ein Karem, a serene village traditionally regarded as the birthplace of John the Baptist. In the evening, we return to our hotel in Bethlehem for an overnight stay, reflecting on the profound spiritual experiences of the day.

Jerusalem - Mount Olives - Bethlehem

After breakfast, we begin our day at the Mount of Olives, just east of Jerusalem’s Old City. This revered site, dotted with ancient olive trees and a historic Jewish cemetery, holds deep Christian significance as the place where Jesus is believed to have ascended to heaven. At the foot of the Mount, we visit the Garden of Gethsemane—where Jesus spent His final moments in prayer before the crucifixion. We then enter the Old City, walking along the traditional path believed to be the route Jesus took on His way to Golgotha, the site of the Crucifixion. As we follow this sacred journey, take in the historic surroundings and the spiritual atmosphere, with moments for quiet reflection and sweeping views of Jerusalem. After this meaningful experience, we return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Nazareth

After breakfast, we set off to Capernaum, a historic fishing village on the Sea of Galilee, where we explore the Church of the Loaves and Fishes and St. Peter’s House. Next, we visit Cana and Nazareth, home to ancient churches and rich biblical history, with Nazareth being the birthplace of Jesus. A highlight of the day is our exclusive Jesus Boat ride on the Sea of Galilee, a special TravelLive experience on the world’s lowest freshwater lake. In the evening, we proceed to either Nazareth or Tiberias, check in to our hotel, enjoy a delicious dinner, and relax for the night.

Nazareth to Dead Sea via Jericho

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and start your journey towards the Dead Sea, passing through the ancient city of Jericho. Continue your drive through the Judean desert to reach the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth, renowned for its mineral-rich waters and natural buoyancy. Upon arrival, enjoy the opportunity to float in the Dead Sea (subject to weather and time). Later, proceed to your hotel for check-in and dinner.

From Aqaba, we venture into the awe-inspiring Wadi Rum desert, a UNESCO World Heritage Site celebrated for its towering rock formations, vast red sands, and ancient petroglyphs. Upon arrival, we are treated to the enchanting Petra by Night—a truly magical experience that unveils the city's ancient beauty. Our evening begins with a serene walk through the Siq, a narrow gorge that leads us to the stunning Treasury, bathed in the soft glow of over 1,500 candles. The flickering lights and tranquil atmosphere make for an unforgettable, otherworldly experience. After this mystical exploration, we check in to our hotel in Petra, enjoy a delightful dinner, and rest overnight, ready to embrace the adventures that await us.

After breakfast, we embark on a guided walking tour of Petra, Jordan’s most cherished archaeological treasure. Known as the "Rose City" for its striking sandstone architecture, Petra was once the thriving capital of the Nabatean Kingdom. Our journey begins with the dramatic Siq—a narrow gorge flanked by towering rock walls—leading us to the iconic Treasury (Al-Khazneh). As we explore further, we encounter ancient tombs, temples, rock-carved facades, and the impressive Roman-style amphitheater, each telling the story of this incredible city. After a day filled with history and wonder, we return to the hotel to relax, unwind, and enjoy a peaceful overnight stay in Petra.

After breakfast, we check out from the hotel and begin our journey toward Amman, making a few culturally rich stops along the way. Our first stop is Madaba, also known as the "City of Mosaics," home to the renowned Byzantine mosaic map of the Holy Land. We continue on to Mount Nebo, the sacred site where Moses is believed to have glimpsed the Promised Land. From its summit, take in panoramic views of the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and, on a clear day, even Jerusalem. We then proceed to Amman, the vibrant capital of Jordan, where we check in to our hotel for a relaxing dinner and overnight stay.

After a late check-out, we begin our day with a city tour of Amman, uncovering the key landmarks of Jordan’s vibrant capital. We then continue to the ancient city of Jerash, one of the best-preserved Roman archaeological sites outside Italy, renowned for its grand colonnades and historic ruins. Later, enjoy some leisure time for shopping, where you can pick up souvenirs and local specialties to remember your trip. In the evening, we transfer to the airport for our return flight to Kolkata via Mumbai, bringing our unforgettable journey to a close.
