Meet our Tour Director at New Delhi International Airport and head to your flight to Helsinki. Upon arrival, enjoy an orientation tour featuring the city's top cultural sites, including the Sibelius Monument and Uspenski Orthodox Cathedral. End the day at Helsinki Train Station to board the overnight Santa Claus Express to Rovaniemi, beginning an unforgettable Arctic adventure.
Rovaniemi - Kakslauttanen
In the early afternoon, we disembark at Rovaniemi, the administrative capital and commercial centre of Finland's northernmost province, Lapland. Situated on the Arctic Circle and nestled between the hills of Ounasvaara and Korkalovaara, it's where the Kemijoki River meets its tributary, the Ounasjoki. Rovaniemi enchants with its captivating nature, Lappish traditions, and culture. The highlight of the day is a visit to the Santa Claus Village, an enchanting amusement park in Lapland. Our journey continues to Kakslauttanen, a resort village in northern Finland. After dinner, we have the opportunity to witness the Northern Lights or choose to stay in a glass-topped igloo, providing a front-row seat to the mesmerizing display of colours painted by the Northern Lights. Your overnight stay is in Kakslauttanen, where the magic of Lapland awaits.
Nuorgam - Utsjoki
Post breakfast, we go on a drive through the mesmerizing heart of the Arctic Wilderness, Inari. The location right by the mighty Lake Inari allows adventures on the lake by boat in the summertime and by snowmobile in wintertime. Inari is the largest municipality in Finland but also one of the least populated. The seat of Sámi culture, Inari is the home of the Sámi parliament. Later transferred to Nuorgam-Utsjoki, the last village of the European Union at 70-degree latitude. Nuorgam is a village in the Utsjoki municipality in the region of Lapland, Finland. It has approximately 200 inhabitants. It is the northernmost point of Finland and the northernmost point of the European Union. It is situated on the Deatnu River, which is very popular for salmon fishing. Nuorgam is located near the villages of Utsjoki and Tana. The nearest cities are Murmansk, Rovaniemi, Hammerfest, Alta, and Tromsø. Stay overnight in Utsjoki.
Utsjoki - North Cape expedition - Honningsvåg
After breakfast, we will drive through the European Route E69 motorway, the northernmost public road in Europe. This scenic drive will take us to its northern terminus at North Cape, which makes it the northernmost point in Europe that can be accessed by car. We will enjoy the unspoilt white plains and snow-capped mountains will reflect the soft Arctic light. The North Cape is also a fantastic location for experiencing the Northern Lights . After an orientation tour of the town, we will check into our hotel and have a chance to see the northern lights at night.
Honningsvåg - Alta
Following breakfast, our journey continues to Alta, where we will encounter the world's first Northern Lights Cathedral. Welcome to Norway! The Northern Lights Cathedral, also known as Alta Church, is a significant parish church affiliated with the Church of Norway. It is nestled in the heart of Alta Municipality within Troms og Finnmark county, located in the central part of Alta town. This cathedral serves as the primary church for the Alta parish and holds the esteemed position of being the seat of the Alta prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Nord-Hålogaland. Upon our arrival in Alta, we will proceed to check in at the hotel and indulge in a delightful dinner at a local restaurant. Later in the evening, we will embark on an excursion to witness the captivating Northern Lights, adding a touch of enchantment to our Arctic expedition.
Alta - Tromsø
After a relaxed breakfast, we'll depart from our hotel in Alta and make our way to Tromsø, a city in northern Norway known as a major cultural hub above the Arctic Circle. Tromsø is famous for its panoramic views of the colourful Northern Lights that grace the night sky. The city's historic centre, located on the island of Tromsø, is characterized by centuries-old wooden houses. The journey to Tromsø offers some of the most breathtaking scenery in Norland, with awe-inspiring fjords along the way. We'll make photo stops to capture the ethereal beauty of nature, arriving in Tromsø by afternoon. Upon arrival, we'll embark on a city tour led by our English-speaking guide, which includes a visit to the iconic Arctic Cathedral. After the tour, we'll check in to our hotel, conveniently located near downtown Tromsø. In the evening, after enjoying dinner and some leisure time at the hotel, we will venture to a serene location away from the city lights, providing us with an excellent opportunity to witness the majestic Aurora (Northern Lights).
Tromsø - Kiruna
After enjoying breakfast and completing the check-out process at our hotel, we embark on a journey to Kiruna, a picturesque town located in the far north of Swedish Lapland. Welcome to Sweden! Kiruna boasts Sweden's highest mountain, Kebnekaise, and is surrounded by ski resorts like Björkliden and Riksgränsen. This town is renowned for its mesmerizing beauty, featuring majestic snow-capped mountains and pristine lakes. Our next destination is the Kurravaara Camp, where we will immerse ourselves in the captivating natural surroundings. If time and circumstances allow, we may have the opportunity to visit the Torne River Valley, a unique cultural melting pot where the Finnish, Swedish, and Sámi cultures have coexisted side by side for generations. During the night in this enchanting land, you can relish the profound silence and vast expanse of the landscape while keeping an eye out for the elusive Aurora Borealis, also known as the Northern Lights.
Kiruna - Helsinki
After having breakfast in Kiruna, we will set out for Kittilä. The coach will drive through the picturesque landscape of the Arctic Circle. We will cross the border of Finland and have some photo stops in between. Upon arrival at Kittilä, visit Ice Hotel–a magical world of ice and snow as a TravelLive Exclusive Highlight. Later, transfer to the Airport to board the flight to Helsinki. Upon arrival in Helsinki, we will do an orientation city tour by covering the monument of composer Jean Sibelius and explore the promenade of Esplanade Park, Alex Church; depending upon time & situation, check in at the hotel. Evening you will be transferred to an Indian restaurant. Overnight at Helsinki.
Helsinki - Iceland – Borgarnes - Hraunfossar
After enjoying breakfast and completing the check-out process at our hotel, proceed to Helsinki Airport to board your scheduled flight to Keflavik. Welcome to Iceland, a Nordic island nation renowned for its dramatic landscapes, characterized by volcanoes, geysers, hot springs, lava fields, and the magical Northern Lights. Upon arrival proceed to Hraunfossar, a breathtaking series of waterfalls created by streams flowing over a distance of about 900 meters from the Hallmundarhraun lava field. This lava field originated from an eruption of one of the volcanoes beneath the Langjökull glacier. We will proceed to the hotel, and dinner will follow.
Thingvellir - Geysir – Gullfoss - Hella
After enjoying a hearty breakfast, check out and proceed to Thingvellir National Park, a historically significant site where the ancient parliament assembled for centuries beside Iceland's largest lake. Following this, we'll visit the great Geysir Strokkur, renowned for its sprouting hot springs, before moving on to Gullfoss, famously known as the "Golden Waterfall." Here, you can witness the water dramatically plunging down 32 meters in two stages into a rugged canyon, with walls soaring up to 70 meters high. On sunny days, a sparkling rainbow can often be seen arching over the falls. Later, drive to Hella/Hvolsvöllur within the Fludir area in Iceland to check into your hotel for the night. If fortune smiles upon us, you might have the opportunity to witness the Northern Lights near the hotel after enjoying a fulfilling dinner.
Skogafoss - Reynisfjara Black Beach, Jökulsárlón with Diamond Beach
Following breakfast, embark on an exhilarating journey to explore three of Iceland's most captivating sights. Our adventure begins at the majestic Skogafoss Waterfall. Skogafoss, renowned for its awe-inspiring beauty, is one of Iceland's largest and most iconic waterfalls. With waters plunging from a height of 60 meters (nearly 200 feet) into a serene pool below, the waterfall creates a mist that often produces rainbows on sunny days, adding to its mystical allure. After soaking in the splendour of Skogafoss, we'll make our way to the world-renowned black sand beaches along the Atlantic Ocean. Our second key destination is Reynisfjara Black Beach, celebrated for its striking basalt columns, powerful Atlantic waves, and breathtaking vistas. Renowned as one of the finest examples of Iceland's unique black sand beaches, Reynisfjara was honoured by National Geographic in 1991 as one of the Top 10 non-tropical beaches to visit globally. The journey continues as we head to our third and final highlight of the day: the mesmerizing Jökulsárlón Glacial Lagoon. This enchanting lagoon, dotted with icebergs from the surrounding glacier, offers a surreal landscape unlike any other. Later, we will return to our hotel, where a delicious dinner awaits before retiring for the night.
Reykjavik - Keflavík - Helsinki
After enjoying a hearty breakfast, check out and proceed to Reykjavik for an oriental tour, first, we visit the Aurora Centre where you can learn all about the Northern Lights in detail. Take a walk-through of history and learn how people and cultures around the world saw the Northern Lights via legends and myths connected to this amazing phenomenon. Later, we will set out for Keflavík Airport for our flight to Helsinki. Upon arrival in Helsinki, we wait for the time to board our subsequent flight to Delhi/ Mumbai.

Landing in Delhi the next morning marks the time to exchange goodbyes with companions who've shared this remarkable journey.
