Welcome aboard TravelLive India, an IATA accredited travel organization. Our experienced and friendly Tour Director, who will accompany you throughout the tour, will meet and greet you at Kolkata's Netaji Subhas International Airport three hours before departure time. He or she will assist you with immigration and customs formalities before you board your flight to South Africa. Dinner will be served on the flight.

Upon arriving at Cape Town International Airport, you will be welcomed by a representative who will assist with your transfer. Shortly after, you'll meet your driver and guide, who will escort you to your designated hotel. Once you arrive, check in and take some time to refresh yourself. Cape Town, known as South Africa's oldest city, is not only the legislative capital, hosting the South African Parliament, but is also the second-largest city in the country after Johannesburg, and the largest in the Western Cape.

The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure, until we escort you to the Gold Restaurant for dinner. This restaurant offers a truly authentic African experience. It's more than just a dining place; it's an immersive cultural experience, complete with an interactive drumming session before your meal.

After an enriching evening, you will return to your hotel in Cape Town for a well-deserved overnight rest.

Start your day with a delightful breakfast at your hotel before embarking on a comprehensive half to full-day guided tour of Cape Town. The day promises a lineup of exciting highlights. One of the key features is the ascent to Table Mountain, where you'll be greeted with breathtaking, sweeping views. Please note that this visit is subject to weather conditions; if Table Mountain is closed, the tour will instead take you to Signal Hill. The tour continues back in the city, passing through the historic Malay Quarter. You'll also drive past notable landmarks such as the Castle of Good Hope, the Houses of Parliament, and the Company Gardens. The journey extends to Sea Point and Camp’s Bay, offering scenic ocean vistas. Time permitting, you'll also visit the vibrant Victoria and Alfred Waterfront. Next on the agenda is a visit to the renowned Groot Constantia Wine Estate for a wine tasting session. This estate, set in one of the Western Cape's first wine-producing areas, stands as a prime example of Cape Dutch architecture and is beautifully furnished with antiques. You will enjoy lunch during the tour. After a day full of memorable experiences, return to your hotel in Cape Town for dinner and a restful overnight stay.

After breakfast at your hotel, embark on a Full Day Cape Peninsula Tour, starting with a scenic drive to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, passing through Hout Bay. Weather permitting, enjoy a cruise to Seal Island to view seals and sea birds at Duiker Island. The tour may include a drive along the stunning Chapman's Peak Drive, conditions permitting. Visit the penguin colony at Boulders Beach, then proceed to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. The journey to Cape Point offers breathtaking views, especially in spring with wildflowers in bloom. At Cape Point, see the powerful new lighthouse and opt to ascend to the top by funicular. Conclude the day with a visit to the Treetop Canopy Walkway, where you can experience the forest from a unique vantage point above the trees.

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and begin a private transfer to Knysna, passing through the coastal town of Hermanus. Recognized for its excellent land-based whale-watching, Hermanus is a quaint resort town with a picturesque setting and a mild climate.

Continuing the journey to Knysna, you'll find yourself in a natural paradise of lush forests, tranquil lakes, and golden beaches. Knysna is beautifully situated on the banks of a stunning lagoon, a protected marine reserve rich in marine life.

Upon arrival in Knysna, check into your hotel, refresh, and later enjoy dinner at a local restaurant, soaking in the serene ambiance of this enchanting town.

After breakfast, embark on a full-day tour of the legendary Oudtshoorn, famously known as the ostrich capital of the world. This area is renowned for its high concentration of ostriches and the production of exceptionally fine feathers. However, ostriches are just one of the many attractions in this region of great contrasts.

During the tour, you will visit the Cango Caves, internationally acclaimed as one of the world's most extraordinary natural wonders. These caves are a showcase of stunning limestone formations, created naturally over millions of years. The tour continues to the Safari Ostrich Ranch, where you'll have the unique opportunity to come face-to-face with the world's largest bird.

In the evening, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant before returning to Knysna for an overnight stay.

Johannesburg

Day 7

Post breakfast, check out from your hotel and head to George Airport for your flight to Johannesburg. Upon arrival at O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, you will proceed to Kruger National Park. After reaching your designated lodge in Kruger, check in and take some time to freshen up. Enjoy your dinner and settle in for an overnight stay at Kruger.

On Day 8, rise early for a hot cup of tea or coffee and snacks, then head out for an early morning game drive in Kruger National Park, one of Africa's largest game reserves. Famous for its variety of wildlife, including the Big 5 and numerous bird species, the park offers a diverse landscape of mountains, bush plains, and forests.

Following a lunch break, embark on another game drive that will last until evening. After a day full of wildlife sightings, return to your lodge for dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Kruger National Park - Johannesburg

After enjoying your breakfast at the hotel, depart for Johannesburg via the scenic Panorama Route. This route offers many highlights, including the Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve, which extends from the Pinnacle near Graskop to Swadini in the north. You'll witness the spectacular Blyde River Canyon, one of Africa's natural wonders, featuring the striking Three Rondavels, also known as the Three Sisters.

The tour also includes a visit to Bourke’s Luck Potholes, remarkable cylindrical formations created by river erosion and flood water, and God’s Window, offering breathtaking views that are truly unforgettable.

Upon arrival in Johannesburg, check into your hotel and take some time to freshen up. Enjoy your dinner at a nearby location. Conclude your day with an overnight stay in Johannesburg.

After lunch, take some time to explore Johannesburg on your own, soaking in the local atmosphere and perhaps picking up some last-minute souvenirs. Later in the day, we will head to Johannesburg's international airport for your final boarding, setting off on your flight back to India.
