As evening approaches, you'll transition from the bustling streets of Stockholm to the serene waters of the Baltic Sea with an overnight cruise to Turku. This cruise, departing around night, offers a unique experience as you sail through the night, leaving you to enjoy the breathtaking views, onboard amenities, and the anticipation of arriving in Turku. This day promises a blend of urban exploration and maritime leisure, making for an unforgettable start to your journey.

Your day begins with an early arrival in Turku after a breakfast onboard, followed by a brief orientation tour of the city's highlights. After experiencing Turku's charm, you'll depart for Helsinki by road, arriving in the Finnish capital by afternoon. In Helsinki, you'll partake in a guided city tour, an opportunity to discover the capital's iconic landmarks, historical sites, and local culture. From the majestic Helsinki Cathedral to the bustling Market Square, the tour is a deep dive into what makes Helsinki a must-visit destination. As the evening unfolds, you'll enjoy dinner in the city, experiencing Finnish cuisine's unique flavors. The day's adventure concludes with your departure on the overnight Santa Claus Express train from Helsinki to Rovaniemi. This train ride promises a cozy and exciting transition into the Arctic Circle, setting the stage for your next adventure in the town famously known as the home of Santa Claus.

In the early afternoon, we will disembark in Rovaniemi, the administrative capital and commercial center of Finland's northernmost province, Lapland. This city is located on the Arctic Circle, nestled between the hills of Ounasvaara and Korkalovaara, at the confluence of the river Kemijoki and its tributary, the Ounasjoki. Rovaniemi has many charms, including its mesmerizing nature and natural phenomena, rich Lappish traditions, and vibrant culture In the afternoon, you'll travel to Ranua, a journey of about two hours. We will visit the enchanting Ranua Zoo, a unique wildlife sanctuary that focuses on species from arctic and northern environments. This zoo holds the distinction of being the most northerly zoo in Finland and ranks as the second most northerly zoo globally. Home to around 50 different species of arctic animals and a total of 150 individual creatures, the zoo boasts an impressive array of top predators including lynx, brown bears, and wolves, alongside European moose and deer. It is also the only place in Finland where you can see polar bears. Proudly accredited by the European Association of Zoos and Aquaria (EAZA), the wildlife park commits to the highest standards of animal care and conservation efforts. Later, a unique overnight experience awaits - check into a cozy glass topped Igloo to potentially behold the magical spectacle of the Northern Light creating a celestial kaleidoscopic display against the sky.

After breakfast and checkout, the day begins with an orientation tour of Rovaniemi. The highlight of the day is a visit to the Santa Claus Village, an enchanting amusement park. The journey then progresses with a 5 ½ hour drive to Kiruna, Sweden's northernmost town, known for its unique culture and breathtaking Arctic scenery. Upon arrival in Kiruna, check-in at the hotel offers a moment of relaxation. The evening brings an exceptional experience with an overnight stay at Kiruna as we will have another opportunity to witness the Northern Lights. The serene setting of Kiruna provides a perfect backdrop for observing this spectacular display of colors in the Arctic night sky, making for an unforgettable experience.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel in Kiruna and embark on a brief orientation tour, uncovering the town's Arctic charm. Next, proceed with a scenic drive to Tromsø, pausing in Abisko. Majestic mountains frame the beautiful Abisko valley with its flowering alpine meadows, picturesque rapids and Scandinavia’s largest alpine lake. Then we proceed to Narvik, the queen of fjords. This route offers stunning views of Arctic fjords, blending rugged cliffs with serene waters. Narvik, a historical town nestled by the fjords, serves as a picturesque stopover, offering insights into Norway's wartime history and breathtaking natural scenery. Upon reaching Tromsø, known as the 'Gateway to the Arctic', settle in for the evening. This vibrant city is an ideal spot for witnessing the Aurora Borealis. The overnight stay in Tromsø not only allows for exploring its unique culture but also offers a chance to experience the enchanting Northern Lights, adding a magical dimension to the journey.

In Tromsø, begin the day with an orientation tour, showcasing the city's key highlights and unique Arctic culture, including the Arctic Cathedral. Following the tour, enjoy some free time to further explore Tromsø at your leisure, whether it's visiting museums, wandering through its streets, or relaxing in cozy cafes. The evening is reserved for an exciting aurora hunting adventure, a prime opportunity to witness the stunning Northern Lights.  Additionally, there's an optional activity after dinner: a cable car ride offering an elevated view of the Northern Lights. This ride allows for panoramic vistas of Tromsø's cityscape against the backdrop of the Arctic night sky, adding a remarkable perspective to the magical aurora display.

We checkout early on the last day with a packed breakfast to catch a morning flight to Helsinki. Enjoy leisure time in the afternoon upon your arrival. Later, board your scheduled flight to Delhi. Land in India the next morning, taking wonderful memories of the Northern Lights home with you.
