Day 1

Kolkata - Cairo

Day 1

Your flight starts in the early morning at 1:50 AM. Our Tour Director will meet you at the airport and help you with check in formalities before you board the flight to Cairo enroute Abu Dhabi. We will reach Cairo by mid-day of the same day. Upon arrival in Cairo by mid-day, check into your hotel, then enjoy lunch. After lunch, we head straight to the Egyptian Museum, guided by an Egyptologist, to delve into an extensive collection spanning over 100,000 artefacts from the 18th to the 20th Dynasties. Following this educational experience, conclude your day with dinner and an overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 2

Giza Pyramids - Saqqara - Memphis

Day 2

Enjoy breakfast before heading to Saqqara, the necropolis for ancient Memphis, home to the burial grounds of Egyptian royalty. The chief attraction of Saqqara is the Step Pyramid of Djoser. It is the first pyramid to be built. The 6-tier, 4-sided structure is the earliest colossal stone building in Egypt. After lunch, visit Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt, renowned for its historical significance and as a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1979. Next, visit the Great Pyramids of Giza, including the Pyramid of Khufu (Cheops), the oldest and largest of the three pyramids and the only surviving structure from the original Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Conclude the day's explorations with a visit to the nearby Sphinx. Return to your Cairo hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3

Alexandria

Day 3

After breakfast, travel to Alexandria, a renowned Mediterranean port city in Egypt. Upon arrival, visit the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, a historical archaeological site considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Middle Ages. Next, we visit Pompey's Pillar, a Roman triumphal column in Alexandria. The statue has been ruined, but the gorgeous pillar bears the testimony of Egypt’s Roman association. Next, we enjoy a great Continental Seafood Lunch in a plush restaurant overseeing the Mediterranean Sea. After lunch, we visit the Citadel of Qaitbay by the beach. We will give guests time to take an optional tour inside the Citadel. Then, end our day by checking in to our designated hotel. The evening is free to spend time on the seashore to enjoy the cool breeze of the Mediterranean Sea, followed by a sumptuous dinner.

Day 4

Alexandria - Cairo - Train to Aswan

Day 4

After a hearty breakfast and checkout, we visit the great Alexandria International Library, known as the New Bibliotheca Alexandrina. This modern revival aims to capture the spirit of openness and scholarship that characterized the ancient library, boasting vast architecture and an extensive collection of reading materials. Then we depart Alexandria and drive back to Cairo. Once in Cairo, we visit the renowned Khan El-Khalili Bazaar. This captivating maze of narrow alleys, set within the famous Oriental Bazaar, offers a unique shopping experience reminiscent of an ancient Arab souk. After a couple of hours exploring the market's treasures, we head to Cairo Station, where we'll board a luxury AC train to Aswan. Enjoy dinner in your coupe, complemented by comfortable bedding for a restful night.

Day 5

Nile Cruise on Luxury Ship

Upon Arrival at Aswan, transfer to a luxurious Nile Cruise for a memorable 3-night, 4-day journey. Upon checking into your cabin, your voyage begins. Enjoy an international buffet lunch onboard. After this, you will be guided to visit the famous High Dam, where you can enjoy a relaxing felucca ride around Kitchener’s Island. Then, back to the cruise ship with dinner on board.

Day 6

Nile cruise - Abu Simbel Tour - Kom Ombo Temple

Day 6

We will start at the early dawn in a modern air-conditioned vehicle, starting your tour in Abu Simbel with a packed breakfast in hand. Reaching Abu Simbel by mid-morning, we visit the two uniquely styled temples of Ramses II and Queen Nefertari, also known as the Temple of Hathor. After spending the morning, we will return to our cruise, moored in Aswan, to continue sailing to the Splendid Kom Ombo. We finish our lunch, and once the ship docks, we visit to the twin Temple of Kom Ombo, constructed to serve as a tribute to both Sobek, the crocodile god of fertility and Horus, the falcon god of the sky. Afterwards the Ship as it sails to Edfu.

After a delicious breakfast onboard, your tour guide will take you to see the ancient Temple of Horus, which is the best-preserved ancient Egyptian temple ever discovered in Egypt and one of Egypt’s biggest ancient temples. Have Lunch while you sail to Luxor.

Nile Cruise – Luxor

Day 8

After a delicious breakfast onboard, you continue your Tours with a visit to the Valley of the Kings, the Royal burial ground for over 62 pharaohs situated in the West Bank of Luxor. Here, we can visit up to 3 tombs, which are included in our ticket. You may visit additional tombs by buying your own ticket based on your interest. Once we leave the campus, we visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, constructed in the 15 century. We have lunch at a local restaurant and journey to the East Side of Luxor to experience the crown jewels of Luxor tourist attractions, the Karnak and Luxor Temples on the East Bank. Home to the biggest hypostyle hallway in ancient Egyptian history, it's a sight for the eyes. If the time suits you, you may attend the optional Sound and Light Show at Karnak Temple. After a long and tiring day, we transfer to Luxor Hotel for check-in and a good night’s sleep.

Day 9

Red Sea - Hurghada

Day 9

Today, you have the opportunity to take the optional Hot Air Balloon Ride. Get a bird's eye view of Luxor's ancient sites from aboard a hot air balloon. Your driver will pick you up and take you to the launch site in an air-conditioned vehicle, where you'll attend a safety briefing before getting ready to fly. You'll then head up to the sky, with a local guide on board to point out sights and tell you about their history and relevance. You will be brought back to the cruise to enjoy breakfast. After enjoying a hearty breakfast on the cruise, you'll check out and embark on a scenic road transfer to Hurghada. Along the way, you'll stop for a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, allowing you to stretch your legs and savour some regional cuisine. Upon arrival in Hurghada, you'll check in to your hotel and have the rest of the evening free to relax and soak in the stunning beauty of the Red Sea. Whether you choose to take a leisurely stroll along the beach, swim in the crystal-clear waters, or simply unwind and enjoy the sunset, the evening is yours to relish at your own pace.

Hurgada - Gulf of Suez - Cairo

After breakfast, we have a free morning by the sea. You may like to experience Hurgada’s beach life or take an optional boat trip on your own. We take an early lunch and leave for Cairo. On our way, we will visit the mouth of the Gulf of Suez, a 19th–century Engineering wonder. We will reach Cairo in the evening, check into our hotel, and have a sumptuous dinner.

Faiyum

After a hearty breakfast and checkout, we drive to Al-Fayoum, ready to delve into the oasis's rich blend of nature, history, and wildlife. After an exciting tour of the Valley of Whales, an UNESCO World Heritage site that preserves fossils of pre-historic whales, we have a sumptuous lunch, followed by a serene overnight stay in a resort close to Tunis Village, nestled in the heart of Egypt's enchanting Faiyum Oasis.

Magic Lake in Faiyum

After breakfast and checkout from our hotel, we will proceed to the heart of the desert, Lake Qaroun, also known as Lake Moeris. This saltwater lake in Wadi El Rayan is known for its changing colours throughout the day. Then, discover the desert's heart at Wadi El-Rayan, where you can rest by its waterfalls. We will enjoy our rustic lunch by the desert. In the afternoon, we return to Cairo and proceed to experience the magical Sound and Light of the Giza pyramids and Sphinx. Once over, we check in to our hotel and enjoy our dinner.

Cairo - Abu Dhabi - Kolkata

Day 13

After a buffet breakfast, you'll conclude your trip and head to the Cairo Airport to catch a morning flight, carrying your memories for a tour into the history and culture of the Great Pharaohs. We pass through Abu Dhabi before catching your next flight to Kolkata. You will arrive in Kolkata, after completing immigration formalities and collect your luggage, which was tagged all the way from Cairo Airport. Bid farewell to your friends and proceed to your home, marking the end of your journey.
